SPE placed second for floats in the Homecoming Parade! The float committee did an amazing job bringing the Homecoming theme, "All in the Bulldog Family," to life with our Bulldog Family Feud float. With homecoming coming up for both Suwannee and Branford High School, please keep in mind the SCSD Bell Schedule for early release days.
In observance of Suwannee High School's Homecoming Parade, Friday, October 18, 2024, will be an early release day for all Live Oak schools.
We hope everyone enjoys the parade at 3:00 p.m., as well as other homecoming festivities throughout the week.

Details: Participants will perform at the Bulldog Walk and before the game at 6:45 PM.
Registration Fee: $60.00
This fee covers a custom shirt, a snack and drink on clinic day, and free admission to the Bulldog Walk and pregame performance.

Florida Heiken is offering no cost eye exams and glasses for children!
Parents can apply at www.miamilighthouse.org/FloridaHeikenProgram.asp or they can scan the QR code on the flyer.
Superintendent Ted Roush has announced that as of the date and time of this notice, the
Suwannee County School District, working closely with local emergency management,
consultation with the Florida Department of Emergency Management, and the National
Weather Service, has made the decision to close school operations for Thursday,
September 26, through Friday, September 27. There will be no before or after-school
activities, including athletic events or practices, during this period of closure.
The Suwannee County School District will resume regular operations on Monday, September 30, for the already scheduled Professional Development Day, weather and utility conditions permitting. Students will return as scheduled on Tuesday, October 1.
Any changes to this plan of action will be communicated by 5:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon, September 29, through the District's website, social media, local, and regional television and radio broadcasts.
